My desktop using my UV theme. Transparent hexagonal "cube" with earth at night for the skydome image.

I like the layout. How did you do the hex cube? I must have missed that setting!

To make the cube hexagonal I changed the 'Horizontal Virtual Size' value to 6.  It's under the general options.
